Casino entry rules, country by country
What a casino door asks of you in the three countries our routes visit, and where to turn if you want to stop.
Poland nationwide
| Age | 18. No exceptions. |

| ID | Polish law makes every casino register each guest before entry: name, date of birth or PESEL number, address and citizenship, taken from an identity document. You receive a single-use entry card. |
| Stopping | We found no national self-exclusion register for land-based venues. Ask each venue to refuse you entry; our desk does this for The Casual Room the same evening. |
| Help | Behavioural addiction helpline 801 889 880, every day 17:00 to 22:00, standard call rate. It covers gambling, and families can call too. |
| Regulator | The Minister of Finance issues casino licences; the National Revenue Administration supervises them. |

Great Britain England, Scotland and Wales

| ID | Staff may ask for photo ID from anyone who looks under 25. Carry a passport. |
| Stopping | SENSE lets you exclude yourself from every licensed land-based casino in Great Britain at once, for at least six months. Apply at any casino or with an email form. |

| Regulator | The Gambling Commission. |

The Netherlands nationwide
| Age | 18. |

| ID | Required at every visit; the venue checks it against the national exclusion register. |
| Stopping | Cruks, the national register, bars you from licensed casinos, gaming halls and sites for at least six months. Register at cruksregister.nl. |
| Help | OpenOverGokken 0800 24 000 22, free; the government lists the service as open around the clock. |
| Our trip | Land-based casinos in the Netherlands are run by a single licensed operator in its own venues, so the hotel on our Dutch route has no gaming room. |

Each block gives the age, the document, the way to stop, a help line and the regulator. The rules belong to the countries, not to us, and they change. We check them against official sources before every season; the date at the top is the last check.
