About Half Casual
A small company that grew out of a hotel and a disagreement about how full a holiday day should be.
The name
Marta and Paweł Zieliński ran group tours for other companies for twelve years. Marta wanted every hour planned; Paweł wanted none of them planned. Half Casual is the compromise, and it turned out guests liked it better than either extreme.
The house
They bought the old bathing hotel on the Kołobrzeg promenade in 2010 and opened it a year later. The first routes went no further than a bike ride from the front door.
How we work
Groups of twelve at most. Guides who return season after season. No sales through agencies and no online payment: every booking begins with a phone call, because a conversation answers more questions than a checkout page.
Registration
Half Casual is entered in the register of tour organisers of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship and contributes to the Tourist Guarantee Fund.
