Frequently asked questions

If yours is missing, phone the desk.

How does booking work?

Fill in the booking form. Within 48 hours a manager phones you at the time you chose, checks the place is free and confirms the price. Then you receive a written confirmation, and only then do you pay.

How much is the deposit?

A quarter of the price, by bank transfer within five days of the confirmation. The rest is due 30 days before departure.

Why are prices in złoty?

We are a Polish company and pay our suppliers in złoty. Each route page shows a rough euro figure too.

What exactly is a free half?

The part of the day when no guide is waiting for you. On riding days the van still runs and the guide is still reachable by phone.

Which level is right for me?

Each route states its level. The Kołobrzeg week and Amsterdam are easy; the Tatras are the hardest.

Can I come alone?

Yes. Single rooms cost more; if you would like to share, we try to match you with another guest.

Are children allowed?

On the Kołobrzeg week, Łeba and Hel, from age ten with an adult. The house is family-friendly; only the gaming room is closed to under-18s.

Do I have to go into a gaming room?

Never. A few of our hotels have one, and plenty of guests ignore it all week.

What languages do guides speak?

English and Polish on every route, German on request on the coast.

What happens in bad weather?

The guide may swap a planned half with a free one or change the order of days. The trip keeps its length.

You can only play in person, in the buildings described on these pages. This website takes no stakes, opens no player accounts and processes no payments for gaming.
