Hel and the Kashubian shore
A narrow sandbar 35 km long, seals at the tip and a ferry back across the bay.
The Hel peninsula is in places only a few hundred metres wide, open sea on one side and the shallow Bay of Puck on the other. Kitesurfers love the bay; seals return to the tip at Hel, where a small centre looks after them.
You start and end in Gdynia, a modernist port city of the 1930s. In between you ride the flat peninsula by bike and come back by ferry.
