A slow week in Kołobrzeg

Five nights in our own house: the spa town, the salt marsh and the beach in every season.

Kołobrzeg has been a spa since 1830, built on salt springs that rise under the town. It was almost destroyed in 1945 and rebuilt around a long promenade, a pier and a lighthouse standing on the ruins of an old fort.

This is the one trip that never leaves our house. Each morning a guide takes you somewhere close; each afternoon is open, and the hotel's brine pool is downstairs.
