Highland castles from Edinburgh

Our one trip abroad by coach: three nights in a castle hotel and a loop through the Highlands.

Scotland is the far end of the North Sea from our coast, and many of our guests come back to it. This route takes the old military road north through Perthshire, crosses the Cairngorms and returns down the A9.

Three nights are spent in a baronial castle turned hotel above a glen of heather. The first and last nights are in Edinburgh.
